MTG counts cost of Bulgaria

Modern Times Group’s realignment of its interests in Central & East Europe will cost the company around SEK3,191 million (€357.8 million). The company plans to close TV3 Slovenia in the next few months, though it is also building its presence in Bulgaria.

Canal+ to cease 3D broadcasts

Canal+ is to end its experimental 3D channel as of January 24, 2012. Reports in the French media indicate the channel had only managed to derive some 30,000 subscribers.

Bulgaria confirms new DTT tender

Starmax HD to return after closedown

German Horizon launch planned for second half 2012

KPN launches live TV on Android tablets
