The Luxembourg based Luxe.tv channel has joined the Eutelsat Kabelkiosk bouquet. The channel featuring luxury living will be available in SD quality to over 250 partners in Kabelkiosk serving more than 2.6 million cable households.
Finnish DTT pay operator PlusTV is to take over the management of Canal Digital’s ParempiTV package from Canal Digital. The agreement, which takes effect from October 1, also includes Disney Channel and KinoTV. The ParempiTV package comprises Discovery Channel, Nickelodeon, Eurosport and MTV.
French centric news channel France 24 is to join the UK free-to-air satellite platform Freesat.
The French CanalSat platform is to add Nat Geo Wild and Ushuaïa HD to its channel line-up. The second National Geographic channel will launch on September 9, to be followed two weeks later by the HD version of Ushuaïa.
The three Belgian French language RTL channels are set to join the new TeleSat DTH bouquet in the Walloon part of the country, following an agreement signed yesterday. The new DTH platform is set to launch “before the end of the year.”

The BBC has announced plans to simulcast three more television channels over the internet. BBC Four, CBBC and CBeebies will be streamed from September 16. The channels join BBC Three and BBC News that are already simulcast.
