The Russian telco Synterra Group has chosen BitBand’s IPTV video delivery solution for its new triple play offer. The solution will allow Synterra Group, which is licensed for voice services in 22 Russian regions, to offer subscribers a range of additional services including catch-up TV, NPVR, start-over and VOD.
HBO Comedy will make its debut in the Czech Republic and Slovakia this coming weekend (September 15). The service, which will initially be on air for 18 hours daily, will be available free of charge to subscribers of HBO and HBO2. It has been available in neighbouring Poland since this February.
