The NBC Universal channels Sci Fi Channel and Universal Channel will make their debuts in Poland in December, according to local reports. Content on both channels, which will be distributed by a company named Proyektor, will be mostly obtained from Universal Pictures and small studios that distribute Universal content.

The Bulgarian alternative telco Transtelecom has entered into an agreement with MSKey Group to offer streamed TV to WiMAX users, according to a local report. The service, which is similar to one offered by another alternative provider named Neterra, is being offered to Transtelecom subscribers who have Internet access either via WiMax or cable.
