Endemol launches Dutch crime channel

Endemol has launched a Dutch cable channel, MisdaadNet, on the Ziggo cable network reaching over 900,000 digital households. The new channel offer Dutch crime series from Endemol, as well as German and British productions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Chello Zone to rep for Rush HD

Chello Zone is to represent Voom HD Networks’ Rush HD in much of Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Africa. The organisation already acts for the Voom HD channel.

Videoload to offer Discovery HD on VOD

Videoload, the VOD service from Deutsche Telekom, has announced it will offer Discovery programming in the 1280 x 720 pixels HD format. Programmes will cost between  €1.99 and €2.99 for a 24-hour period.

No carriage deals yet for Dutch football channel

The new Dutch live football channel from Endemol and the Eredivisie league has yet to sign its first distribution agreements. According to Dutch press reports, carriage deals are pending with two IPTV providers, KPN and Tele2, as well as with KPN’s DTT platform Digitenne.

Orange Sport eyes July launch

ITV launches Asian channel

ITV Worldwide has launched a new preview channel for pay-TV operators in Asia. The channel is based on the UKTV channel currently on-air in the Middle East, which is due to be rebranded ahead of a full launch of the new channel later this year.

Hungarian M2 to go digital
