Raluca Milin graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of Commerce, Marketing section in Bucharest in 1996. After university, she completed various training courses including: ASEBUSS Project Management Training (1997), CODECS Management and Marketing (1998-1999), Communication & Business Strategy Training (1999) Management Leadership Training (2003) among others.
During her time at the faculty, Raluca began working at several advertising agencies and then in December 1996 became the second employee of MobiFon (later re-branded as Vodafone) as assistant to the VP of Marketing.
Between 1996 and 2001, Milin held different positions within the company including Marketing Coordinator, Corporate Communications Manager and Advertising Manager, participating in the launch and development of the Connex brand.
In January 2001, Milin joined UPC Romania as Director of Marketing & Sales. She participated in the launch of broadband internet services, digital television and the acquisition and then merger of Astral Telecom into Liberty Global’s Romanian branch.
