Dan Radu graduated from the University of Bucharest and received a Masters degree in satellite communications.
After working for a research institute on low noise threshold satellite receivers, he started his first assignment in the UK at Scientific Atlanta.
During his 12 years at Scientific Atlanta, Dan Radu worked on cable TV, satellite earth stations, video compression, and conditional access. His customers could be found anywhere around Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States.
In 2000, Dan Radu joined EMC computer Systems, the number one server storage company. as Operations Director EMEA.
In March 2004, Intelsat’s expansion into the Media market convinced Dan Radu to make the switch and return to his first professional assignment: satellite communications.
Covering more than 20 countries, Dan Radu is one of Intelsat’s Senior Sales Directors for Media and Entertainment and for Network Solutions.
