Vlastimil Lakatos is currently Head of TV Services at Antik Telecom.
Vlastimil graduated from the University of Kosice in 2004. He then spent four years working and studying in the UK, gaining reputable certificates at the University of Cambridge (Certificate of Advanced English and Business English Certificate Vantage). Working from 2009 as the Head of TV Service at Antik Telekom, he was the co-founder of Antik TV, one of the most dynamic IPTV services in Slovakia. It was widely deployed in 2011, even for OTT distribution via hardware set-top boxes and a mobile application known as Antik TV Go.
To complete the TV distribution portfolio within Antik Telecom, in 2015 Vlastimil co-founded the hybrid satellite service AntikSAT. This was the first satellite service in Slovakia to use an extremely attractive and popular service of catch-up archive service.
At the same time, Vlastimil is an active board member of Slovak Association for Cable Telecommunications, where he occupies the position of Head of Providers’ section.
