Warner Bros. Discovery is preparing one of its biggest live sports weekends of the year, with more than 300 hours of live coverage scheduled across TNT Sports, Eurosport and HBO Max across Europe.
The line-up is led by the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest, where Arsenal will attempt to win their first European title against holders Paris Saint-Germain. TNT Sports will surround the match with an all-day “Champions League Final – Super Weekend” programme beginning at 10.00, with coverage fronted by Reshmin Chowdhury and Laura Woods alongside Martin Keown, Steven Gerrard and Owen Hargreaves.
Earlier, this week prime minister Sir Keir Starmer, himself an Arsenal fan, wrote an open letter to TNT asking that the match be shown free-to-air – it will be available in HBO’s £5 per month basic tier.
The weekend also coincides with the business end of Roland-Garros, where TNT Sports and Eurosport will carry every match from the third and fourth rounds outside France. WBD’s coverage comes only days after it unveiled its expanded Roland-Garros plans for 2026, built around HBO Max features including multiview and key moments, alongside TNT Sports’ new “360” viewing experience in the UK.
Cycling is another major pillar of the schedule with the final stages of the Giro d’Italia and the start of the Giro d’Italia Women, while rugby coverage includes all five Gallagher Premiership Rugby matches in the penultimate round of the regular season.
Women’s sport also features prominently with the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final between Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City at Wembley, alongside Premiership Women’s Rugby coverage.
Motor sport coverage includes MotoGP from Mugello, World Superbikes from Aragón and the FIM Motocross World Championship in Germany. Cycling fans also receive WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series coverage from Loudenvielle in France.
Additional events include NBA Conference Finals, PGA Tour golf in the Nordics and Poland, UFC Macau in selected territories, SailGP New York and LIV Golf from South Korea.
The bumper schedule forms part of WBD’s wider “Summer of Sport”, which will deliver more than 4,000 hours of live coverage across TNT Sports, Eurosport and streaming platforms this summer, including the Tour de France, Le Mans and the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
