German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland is expanding its sports offering with the addition of DFB.TV, the new 24/7 football channel featuring live matches, reports interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage of German football.
The channel will launch on 22 May 2026 at 15:30 CEST and will be available in Germany via Sky’s Entertainment package as well as through the streaming service WOW’s Live Sport subscription. Reception requires an internet connection on the receiver, as DFB.TV is distributed via IP.
Around major tournaments, DFB.TV will broadcast all press conferences involving players, coaching staff and officials from German football association DFB, as well as training sessions and exclusive insights into the national team’s daily environment.
Live coverage will include matches from several competitions organised by DFB, including the 2. Women’s Bundesliga, youth national teams and amateur football competitions. Among the featured events is the “Finaltag der Amateure”, scheduled for 23 May.
The pay-TV channel will also offer a dedicated football archive showcasing historic tournament moments and classic German Cup fixtures.
“DFB.TV complements our sports offering with content that goes beyond the major competitions, from additional live matches to insights around the national teams. This allows us to give our customers even more ways to experience German football,” said Wolfram Wildhagen, Senior Vice President Sky Commercial & Consumer at Sky Deutschland.
DFB.TV will initially launch on Sky in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as a linear channel with on-demand content to follow at a later stage.
