Latvian telco Tet has relaunched Tet+ on the Backscreen OTT platform, introducing a new cross-generation user experience across TV, mobile and web.
The redesigned Tet+ service combines live TV and on-demand navigation in a single flow, with a simplified interface intended to improve content discovery and access to premium programming.
The platform also supports aggregation of third-party content, including HBO and Netflix, and introduces a points-based subscription model.
Backscreen said the service allows Tet to manage content layout and app design from the backend in real time, without requiring engineering changes.
Agnese Ķīsīte, Tet+ platform owner, said the new app was shaped around customer needs and simplicity, adding that it represented “a significant evolution” in design and discovery.
Mikus Narvils, product owner at Backscreen, said live TV and on-demand content now work together “in one flow”, creating a smoother multi-screen experience that reflects how people watch today.
