
Crunchyroll has passed 21 million paid subscribers worldwide, up from 17 million in May 2025.
The Sony-owned anime streaming service said the milestone reinforces its position as a leading global destination for anime fans.
Rahul Purini, president of Crunchyroll, said the figure was “a powerful testament” to the global community embracing anime as a major form of entertainment.
Crunchyroll offers more than 50,000 episodes of anime series, films and specials, alongside music and games through Crunchyroll Game Vault.
Current and returning titles on the platform include Daemons of the Shadow Realm, Witch Hat Atelier and One Piece, while long-running franchises such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Solo Leveling remain available.
Crunchyroll is available in more than 200 countries and territories. In the UK, subscriptions start from £5.99 per month.
