The Royal Television Society has announced the first details of the RTS London Convention 2026, with Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios named as principal sponsor.
The biennial event will take place at Kings Place, London, on September 29 and will be chaired by Tara Erer, head of Northern European originals at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios.
This year’s theme is United in Change: If Not Now, When?, focusing on collaboration, transformation and decisive action across the UK television and media sector.
The first confirmed speakers include Kelly Day, VP, Prime Video International; Priya Dogra, chief executive of Channel 4; Dame Carolyn McCall, CEO of ITV; and Reemah Sakaan, president of 5.
Jane Turton, chair of the RTS Board of Trustees, said the theme reflects the pace of change across the industry and the need to work together to shape the future of television.
Tara Erer said the convention comes at an “inflection point” for the industry and called United in Change “a challenge” to be ambitious about the future.
