Virgin Media O2 has opened a new experiential retail store at Liverpool ONE, as part of its continued investment in UK high streets.
The 1,900 sq ft site brings together mobile, broadband, TV and connected technology within an interactive, hands-on environment, featuring dedicated discovery zones and in-store support.
Customers can explore areas including an “Ultimate Gaming Zone” with VR and AR experiences, a TV and broadband zone showcasing gigabit connectivity, and a Meta zone demonstrating immersive digital services. The store also highlights Priority from O2, the operator’s rewards programme.
Will Houldsworth, director of retail at Virgin Media O2, said Liverpool ONE was “the perfect place to bring our latest products and services closer to the local community”.
The outlet also functions as a National Databank hub, offering free O2 SIMs with 25GB of monthly data to people experiencing data poverty.
Sustainability features include device recycling facilities and the use of energy-efficient lighting and responsibly sourced materials.
To mark the launch, customers can enter an in-store prize draw to win a signed Liverpool FC shirt.
