DAZN and TikTok are partnering to livestream a Serie A fixture on TikTok in the UK and Ireland for the first time.
The Sassuolo v AC Milan match on Sunday, May 3, will be shown free on the @DAZNFootball TikTok channel.
The partnership is designed to use TikTok’s discovery and community features to introduce Serie A to new audiences and turn casual viewers into regular fans.
DAZN said the stream will create a real-time social experience around the match, with viewers able to comment, react and engage during the live broadcast.
Pete Oliver, CEO growth markets at DAZN, said the collaboration was part of the company’s strategy to make football more accessible, immersive and interactive.
Abbie Raybould, global sports partnerships at TikTok, said the live stream reflects a shift in how fans experience football on the platform, moving from passive viewing to shared participation.
DAZN said the initiative forms part of a wider ambition with TikTok to bring more live football and behind-the-scenes content to global audiences.
