UC3 has confirmed preferred bidders for UEFA men’s club competition media rights across 19 global territories for the 2027-31 cycle.
The joint venture between UEFA and European Football Clubs said the tender attracted strong demand from incumbent broadcasters, new entrants, digital platforms and local free-to-air and pay-TV operators.
The process followed last year’s launch in Europe’s top 5 markets and covered a range of rights packages, including full competition rights, highlights and standalone opportunities such as the UEFA Champions League final.
UC3 said multiple bidders including Canal+, DAZN, Disney+, ESPN, Paramount+, Sky and Viaplay had been selected across several territories, alongside market-specific broadcasters.
The organisation said the outcome reflects the continued global appeal of UEFA club competitions and validates its revised commercial strategy.
UC3 added that the approach is designed to balance the growth of global digital platforms with the reach of established broadcasters, while longer-term agreements provide greater stability and visibility for the 2027-31 cycle.
