CANAL+ has acquired UEFA men’s club competition rights across several European markets for 4 seasons from 2027/28 to 2030/31.
The group has renewed exclusive rights to 100% of the UEFA Champions League in Poland, while in Austria it has secured exclusive rights to the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League.
In Switzerland, CANAL+ has renewed rights to 1 match per day from the UEFA Champions League and either the Europa League or Conference League in French, on a co-exclusive basis.
The broadcaster is also launching in Belgium after acquiring exclusive rights to all UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League matches in the country.
The agreements follow CANAL+’s recent renewal in France of exclusive rights to all 3 UEFA men’s club competitions through to 2030/31.
Maxime Saada, CEO of CANAL+, said the Belgian deal was particularly significant, confirming that CANAL+ channels will launch in the market alongside the new rights.
He said the deals make CANAL+ “the largest broadcaster of the UEFA Men’s Club Competitions in Europe” and more broadly worldwide, with rights across more than 50 countries.
Matches and highlights will be available across CANAL+ channels and the CANAL+ app.
