RTL Group’s adtech arm smartclip and M6 Unlimited, the sales house of French broadcaster M6 Group, have launched a partnership that makes Groupe M6’s full digital audio advertising inventory available through smartclip’s smartx platform.
The agreement covers premium audio content from RTL, RTL2 and Fun Radio, marking the first concrete outcome of the strategic partnership announced by the companies last year. It also represents smartclip’s entry into the French digital audio monetisation market.
According to the companies, the migration of inventory onto the smartx ad serving and SSP platform was completed in line with the project’s operational and commercial targets. The deal is designed to support Groupe M6’s digital audio growth ambitions and strengthen monetisation of its premium content. The partners added that smartx will be further developed through jointly created AI-based agents and modules intended to simplify campaign management for agencies and advertisers and improve media strategies.
