Zattoo takes over Pluto TV ad sales in Switzerland

April 24, 2026 09.59 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Zattoo and Paramount are deepening their collaboration in the Swiss market, with the TV streaming provider now taking over advertising sales for Pluto TV.

The move strengthens Zattoo’s position in the rapidly growing FAST Channels segment and expands Paramount’s commercial footprint across Europe.

Pluto TV, launched in 2014, has grown into one of the world’s leading FAST platforms and is now available in more than 35 countries. The expanded agreement follows the start of Zattoo’s advertising partnership for Paramount+ in autumn 2025.

The deal reflects Paramount’s strategy to broaden Pluto TV’s advertising reach across European markets. While Paramount+ focuses on premium subscription content, Pluto TV offers a free, ad‑supported alternative. Advertisers in Switzerland will now be able to access Paramount’s entire streaming portfolio through Zattoo.

Pluto TV offers more than 150 curated FAST Channels alongside a wide range of on‑demand titles, spanning series, films, news, documentaries and content from well‑known brands including MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon. Advertising spots run in full‑screen, cannot be skipped and are delivered with targeted placement to minimise wastage and maximise visibility.

By integrating Pluto TV, Zattoo expands its growing connected TV (CTV) portfolio, which already includes Paramount+, HBO Max and Samsung TV Plus. According to the Swiss company, advertisers and agencies will benefit from increased reach and additional premium environments, further consolidating Zattoo’s role as one of Switzerland’s key CTV advertising providers.

“The partnership with Pluto TV – only six months after the launch of our advertising collaboration for Paramount+ – underlines the effectiveness of our CTV and streaming advertising strategy. Swiss advertising partners benefit from a high‑quality portfolio and precise audience targeting,” said Tina Rodriguez, CEO of Zattoo.

Maciej Walczybok, Vice President Advertising Sales Northern, Eastern & Central Europe at Paramount, added: “With the deepening of our partnership with Zattoo, an important market player, we are driving the expansion of Pluto TV in Switzerland and strengthening our position as the first point of contact for viewers and advertisers in free streaming.”
