Fubo expands multiview feature to LG smart TVs

April 24, 2026 12.59 Europe/London By Julian Clover

FuboTV Inc. is expanding its multiview functionality to select LG smart TVs, in a move aimed at strengthening its sports-focused streaming proposition ahead of the 2026 football season.

The company said it is developing its user-configured Multiview feature for 2024, 2025 and newer 4K and 8K LG models, with a launch expected later this year. Fubo is positioning itself as the first virtual MVPD to bring a fully customisable multiview experience to LG’s platform.

Multiview allows subscribers to stream up to four live channels simultaneously, with users able to select their own combination of content. The feature is already available on Apple TV and select Roku devices.

Fubo said its implementation differs from rival offerings by allowing full user control across all available channels, rather than limiting viewing to preset combinations — a capability particularly suited to live sports and news.

Isaac Josephson, SVP of product management at Fubo, said the feature is one of the platform’s most popular, adding that the LG rollout will allow viewers to personalise their experience and track multiple games or fantasy sports outcomes simultaneously.

The move comes as streaming platforms continue to compete on user experience and feature innovation, particularly around live sport, where engagement and viewing time remain key differentiators.
