SES has renewed its long-running partnership with the International Judo Federation for the global distribution of major judo events.
Under the new agreement, the federation will continue to use SES’s hybrid IP, fibre and satellite network, alongside the SES SCORE platform, to deliver coverage to broadcasters and audiences across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The partnership covers the distribution of premier IJF competitions including Grand Slam and Grand Prix events.
SES said it has supported the federation for more than a decade, helping to distribute and preserve hundreds of thousands of hours of content.
In addition to live event delivery, SES provides archiving and on-demand access for broadcasters through its SCORE platform, as well as operational support including uplink coordination, pre-event testing, live transmission monitoring, booking management and contingency planning.
