NEM Dubrovnik has unveiled a second round of speakers and keynote participants for its 2026 market, adding further senior executives from across broadcasting, streaming and content distribution.
The latest names joining the June event include Jamie Cooke, EVP and GM Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Warner Bros Discovery; Igor Draguzet, chief content officer at CME; Jan Frelek, CCO at Backscreen; Jan Maxa, director of content and production at FTV Prima; Rodrigo Nascimento, head of international business hub EMEA at Globo; Jens Richter, global CEO commercial and international at Fremantle; Rahela Štefanović, editor in chief at HRT; Peter Wassong, head of TV content Europe at Deutsche Telekom; Bartosz Witak, general manager and SVP for CEE, MENA and Turkey at BBC Studios; and Cassandra Yang, CEO of RisingJoy.
Organisers said the new additions expand the programme with further expertise on content trends, formats, distribution strategies and innovation in the TV sector.
Jens Richter, Global CEO, Commercial & International at Fremantle and one of the confirmed keynote speakers, said: “I am delighted to be part of NEM this year and to have the opportunity to deliver a keynote. It’s a privilege to join such an influential gathering of industry leaders, and we look forward to sharing our perspective and contributing to the conversations shaping the future of our sector.”
Jan Maxa said the event offered an opportunity for in-depth conversations with industry figures and described it as good to be returning.
Igor Draguzet said audience retention ultimately depended on what content was made and how well it was produced, adding that Central and Eastern Europe had strong creative assets, including local talent and formats that connect with viewers in ways imported programming often does not.
Running from June 8 to 11, NEM Dubrovnik 2026 is expected to host more than 300 companies. The event has been held since 2013 and has established itself as a regional meeting point for broadcasters, streamers, producers, distributors and media agencies. Organisers said a full line-up of more than 80 speakers will be announced shortly.
