Free ad-supported streaming network wedotv has expanded its presence in the Middle East with the launch of three region‑specific FAST Channels on Samsung TV Plus.
wedotv Big Stories and wedotv Sports MENA are already live, while wedotv Cars is set to debut later this month. Samsung’s free streaming service is available in 30 markets worldwide, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
“We created these versions of our FAST Channels specifically for the Middle East and, in the case of wedotv Cars, the channel was created especially for the region’s enthusiastic car culture,” said Iza Piotrowska, SVP, Global Business Development at wedotv. “In so doing, we are striving to create channel environments where viewers engage more deeply and for longer. That delivers a stronger proposition for advertisers seeking meaningful reach, while reinforcing sustained engagement within the Samsung TV Plus ecosystem.”
wedotv Big Stories offers a slate of factual and documentary programming, including Life on the Edge, Wardens, Wardens Case Files, Wildlife Heroes and Survive the Wild (pictured). All titles are presented with Arabic subtitles.
wedotv Sports MENA brings live sports from the Scottish Football League, Italian Lega Basket, Turkish Basketball Super League, PSA Squash Tour and BWF Badminton, alongside analysis and magazine shows such as The Football Review, The Inside Line, Sport Confidential and Total Combat. These programmes also feature Arabic subtitles
The upcoming wedotv Cars channel focuses on automotive culture, with test drives, documentaries and selected motorsport content. Highlights include Motorcycles, showcasing high‑performance bikes on tracks and trails worldwide, and Perfect Ride, where experts put new models through their paces.
The Samsung TV Plus launch follows wedotv’s rollout of wedotv Big Stories and wedotv Sports MENA on evision and STARZ ON in October 2025.
