Magenta Telekom joins DNMG and adds Stingray channels

March 24, 2026 06.00 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Austrian telco Magenta Telekom has joined cable association Deutsche Netzmarketing (DNMG) and is now distributing the Stingray channels iConcerts, DJazz and Classica in HD to its customers.

The move expands Magenta Telekom’s music offering, with iConcerts included in all TV packages at no extra cost, while DJazz and Classica are available as part of the operator’s TV L package. Classica has already been part of the platform’s line-up for several years, with the DNMG agreement now enabling the addition of iConcerts and DJazz.

Through its membership in DNMG, Magenta Telekom gains access to an existing framework agreement with Stingray covering signal delivery and content rights under pre-negotiated conditions. The agreement enables content partners to reach up to 6 million TV households via the networks of its affiliated operators, according to DNMG.

iConcerts focuses on live performances and concert recordings from international artists, while DJazz specialises in jazz and blues programming including concerts, jam sessions and interviews. Classica offers classical music programming, including symphonic concerts and opera productions.

“We are very pleased to welcome Magenta Telekom, the leading network operator in Austria, to our ranks,” said Damian Lohmann, Director of Partnerships at DNMG. “This cooperation marks the start of our collaboration with Stingray, enabling Magenta Telekom to offer high-quality music content.”

Tom Adams, Managing Director of Stingray Germany, added: “Classica has been popular with Magenta Telekom customers for many years, and we are pleased that the DNMG framework agreement now enables iConcerts and DJazz to reach even more music fans via Magenta Telekom.”

Magenta Telekom is part of Deutsche Telekom and provides broadband, mobile, entertainment and business services in Austria. DNMG represents more than 200 network operators in German-speaking markets and acts as a central interface between content providers, platforms and network operators, offering carriage agreements and distribution services.
