Sky offers ‘Taste of Hayu’ ahead of July launch

March 20, 2026 12.59 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Sky has begun rolling out a preview of Hayu to its TV customers, offering selected seasons from 10 reality franchises ahead of the full service launch in July.

Sky says A Taste of Hayu makes more than 150 episodes available on demand from the Sky TV homepage to Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky Q and Sky+ customers, with Sky Q Essentials and Basic customers excluded. When Broadband TV News checked we found many more titles across multiple seasons.

The line-up includes titles such as Below Deck, Below Deck Mediterranean, Vanderpump Rules, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, giving subscribers an early sample of the NBCUniversal-owned reality brand before the full catalogue becomes available this summer.

The move follows Sky’s February announcement that it would bundle Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix and Hayu within a single TV subscription. The operator said Sky Ultimate TV will be priced from £24 (€27.78) a month for new customers from 1 April, rising from the current £22 offer price.

Sky said the full Hayu launch in July will give customers access to hundreds of additional series, including same-day US episodes from key franchises, integrated within the wider Sky TV experience.

The company is also using the launch to underline the breadth of its entertainment offer, which now includes Disney+, added on 17 March, and HBO Max, which is due to join the platform on 26 March, alongside Sky Originals and exclusives.

There is no change for existing customers subscribing to Hayu through Sky Marketplace, who will continue to access the service through the app with the same profiles and billing arrangements.
