Ateme has been added to YouTube’s list of verified live encoders, with certification covering support for SRT output as part of the approval.
The French video compression and delivery specialist said the validation confirms its TITAN encoding platform meets YouTube’s technical and performance requirements for high-quality live streaming workflows using SRT contribution.
According to Ateme, the certification will allow creators and content owners to deliver low-latency live streams to YouTube over unmanaged networks with greater resilience and secure transmission.
Ateme said its live encoding and processing products are designed for on-premises, cloud and SaaS deployment, with support for codecs including AV1, as well as HDR and low-latency streaming features.
The company added that TITAN is already being used by Brazilian YouTube channel CazéTV for live encoding, with the channel having hosted 5 of the 10 most-viewed live events on YouTube.
François Guilleautot, Head of New Media at Ateme, said the verification represented official recognition from YouTube for the TITAN platform and reflected the company’s focus on delivering high video quality to live streaming customers.
