Sky appoints Damian Saunders as Managing Director of Sky Business

March 10, 2026 11.21 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Sky has named Damian Saunders as managing director of Sky Business as it looks to further expand its B2B operations in the UK market.

Saunders succeeds into the role after more than a decade with the division, having joined Sky in 2012 as strategy and emerging markets director when the business was still largely focused on TV and content services.

Since then, he has held a number of senior roles including strategy and commercial director, managing director of Sky Business TV, and managing director of Sky Business, TV, Mid-Market & Wholesale. Most recently, he served as managing director and chief revenue officer for Sky Business.

During his time with the company, Saunders has helped oversee the expansion of Sky Business beyond its traditional content-led base into telecoms and connectivity, broadening its position in the UK B2B sector.

Devesh Raj, CEO AI, Data and Sky Business, said: “Sky Business has grown significantly over the past decade and continues to be a key growth engine for Sky. Damian’s appointment reflects both the scale of the opportunity ahead and the strength of leadership we have within the business. He brings deep experience of our customers, our people and the market, and has been instrumental in shaping Sky Business into what it is today.”

In his new role, Saunders will lead the next phase of growth for Sky Business, with responsibility for its portfolio of TV, broadband and connectivity services aimed at businesses across the UK.

Saunders said: “Sky Business has changed enormously since I joined, and I’m proud to have been part of that journey. We’ve grown the business, broadened our offer and built strong, long-term relationships with customers across the UK. I’m excited to step into the role of Managing Director and to continue working with our teams to grow Sky Business and deliver even more value to our customers.”
