Sky Sports has detailed its plans for the 2026 Formula 1 season, which gets underway in Australia on 6 March.
The broadcaster says it will again show live coverage of all 24 races in the UK and Ireland, alongside practice and qualifying, and will continue its F1 rights partnership through to 2029.
A new immersive sidebar experience is due to arrive later in the season for Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q customers. Sky Sports says the feature will offer options including Race Control, Recap, in-race standings, plus dedicated driver and team pages with onboard cameras, enhanced data, explainers and improved navigation.
Other additions include Pit Wall Live, with Bernie Collins analysing qualifying and race strategy, plus expanded onboard coverage. Viewers will be able to select live onboard streams for any of the 20 drivers, including team radio, across races, Sprints, qualifying and practice sessions.
Returning formats include The Grid Walk, SkyPad analysis with Anthony Davidson and Karun Chandhok, Ted Kravitz’s The Notebook, and The F1 Show across Fridays and Tuesdays, with availability via YouTube and as an audio option.
Sky Sports also promised an enhanced digital and social output across Sky Sports F1 channels and SkySports.com, alongside Ultra High Definition viewing.
The 2026 on-screen line-up will feature Martin Brundle, Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, Jacques Villeneuve, Naomi Schiff, Bernie Collins, Karun Chandhok, Jamie Chadwick and Anthony Davidson, with presenting and reporting from Simon Lazenby, Natalie Pinkham, Ted Kravitz, Rachel Brookes and Craig Slater. Commentary will again come from David Croft and Harry Benjamin.
Non-Sky customers can access Sky Sports F1 via NOW Sports Day or Month Memberships.
