MFE-MediaForEurope has approved a new top management organisation designed to shift the group from a financial holding company to an operational media company with direct coordination of its businesses across markets.
The board has appointed Pier Silvio Berlusconi as Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, while Fedele Confalonieri remains Statutory Chairperson.
MFE said the new model moves from a vertical to a more horizontal structure, bringing group-wide staff functions into the holding company to support international growth, innovation and operational coordination.
As part of the reorganisation, MFE confirmed a series of group-wide leadership roles:
- Pasquale Straziota becomes General Counsel, coordinating legal activities across the group.
- Marco Giordani, Chief Finance and International Business Officer, will oversee financial control and international business development, with Simone Sole appointed Chief Financial Officer.
- Stefano Sala, Chief Global Advertising Officer, will lead advertising sales in all markets via MFE Advertising.
- Niccolò Querci continues as Chief Operating and Human Resources Officer, covering organisation, HR, technology, procurement and operations.
- Gina Nieri becomes Chief Institutional Affairs Officer, representing MFE in international institutional and regulatory contexts.
- Mauro Crippa is appointed Chief Corporate Communication Officer, responsible for corporate communications and media relations across the group.
MFE also plans to establish new dedicated structures, starting with a unit focused on digital platform and AI-related innovation. The group said this will leverage expertise at ProSiebenSat.1’s Munich office, led by Dirk Voigtländer, under a Digital Innovation Strategy.
In addition, Federico di Chio will take on the role of Data and Media Currency Director within Strategic Marketing, tasked with measuring and analysing editorial and commercial performance across linear TV and digital media
