Ziggo Sport has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights for all UEFA men’s club competitions through the 2030/2031 season, keeping the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League under one roof for Dutch viewers.
Stephen van Rooyen, CEO of VodafoneZiggo, said retaining the package is part of the operator’s strategy to “offer the best content” and become the most preferred network in the Netherlands, combining sport with films and series in a broader entertainment proposition.
Marcel Beerthuizen, Director of Ziggo Sport, said the renewal underlines the channel’s position in the market and will support further investment in high-quality and innovative coverage, alongside continued collaboration with Dutch clubs on communications and social media content.
Ziggo Sport said it will continue to show every match live across its six linear Ziggo Sport channels and more than 20 streaming channels, including its Super Switch format that enables viewers to follow up to 18 matches simultaneously.
