Spiegel TV steps up FAST distribution across streaming platforms

March 3, 2026 11.09 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German producer Spiegel TV is accelerating the rollout of its FAST Channels on streaming platforms, increasing its footprint to a total of eleven distribution partners.

With the recent addition of MagentaTV and Zattoo, the Hamburg-based company has broadened the reach of its FAST offering. The channels are also available via Amazon Prime Video, Joyn, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, Titan OS on Philips devices, LG Channels, Rakuten TV, Xiaomi and Whale TV.

“Our FAST Channels are, in addition to our successful YouTube channel, important pillars of Spiegel TV’s digital strategy,” said Kay Siering, Managing Director of Spiegel TV. “They are particularly exciting for us because they allow us to reach users directly. Through the new partnerships, we can further expand our presence. This demonstrates the industry’s appreciation for our programming, which I am very pleased about.”

The core channel Spiegel TV offers a 24-hour schedule of reports, documentaries and factual programming, complemented by two news windows produced by the editorial team of German news magazine Spiegel. Early evening slots feature reports from Germany and abroad alongside service-driven content, while primetime at 20:00 CET opens each day with a different highlight programme.

The companion channel Spiegel TV action+crime focuses on police operations and investigative work, with series on clan crime and formats such as Im Verhör, Die bösen Jungs vom Kiez and Interview mit einem Killer, alongside episodes following paramedics, air rescue teams and the Berlin-Neukölln fire brigade.
