Ateme has entered into a multi-year agreement with Netflix to deploy its TITAN Live transcoder in support of the streamer’s live streaming workflows.
The TITAN Live platform provides real-time encoding across multiple codec formats, with Ateme positioning it as a bandwidth-efficient solution designed to maximise video quality, using measures including VMAF alongside subjective assessments intended to minimise visual artefacts.
Thomas Burnichon, Vice President of Innovation Strategy at Ateme, said the companies had aligned on a shared vision for live delivery, adding: “It has been truly transformative to bring all the critical expertise together from both Netflix and Ateme – allowing us to align on a shared vision, iterate quickly, and execute efficiently.”
