The European Broadcasting Union says 29 EBU Member broadcasters and licensees will deliver its biggest-ever free-to-air coverage plan for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, spanning 27 European territories.
The announcement follows the award of exclusive media rights across continental Europe to the EBU by Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 last year, excluding Italy and the United Kingdom.
Broadcasters confirmed for coverage include ORF (Austria), RTVA (Andorra), RTBF and VRT (Belgium), HRT (Croatia), Ceska Televize (Czechia), DR (Denmark), ERR (Estonia), YLE (Finland), France Télévisions (France), GPB (Georgia), ARD/ZDF (Germany), ERT (Greece), MTVA (Hungary), RUV (Iceland), The Sport Channel (Israel), LPSM (Latvia), LR (Lithuania), NOS (Netherlands), NRK (Norway), TVP (Poland), STVR (Slovenia), RTVS (Slovakia), RTVE (Spain), SVT (Sweden), SRG SSR (Switzerland), TRT (Türkiye) and Suspilne (Ukraine).
Collectively, the EBU is set to offer at least 900 hours of multi-platform coverage, with the Paralympic Winter Games marking their 50th anniversary.
Alongside national coverage, Eurovision Sport, the EBU’s free-to-air streaming platform, will provide live and on-demand coverage across Europe, including streams of all 6 Paralympic winter sports.
Warner Bros. Discovery will also carry daily highlights across Europe on its linear sports channels, which the EBU says will happen for the first time. In the UK, coverage will be available on the publicly owned Channel 4.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games take place from 6 to 15 March 2026, featuring up to 655 Para athletes across 79 medal events in Para alpine skiing, Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para ice hockey, Para snowboard and wheelchair curling.
