Vodafone is offering its internet, TV and mobile subscribers in Germany a permanent €2 monthly discount on Netflix subscriptions booked through the operator, reducing the price of the ad-supported Standard plan by up to 40%.
Under the new ‘streaming benefit’, the Netflix Standard plan with ads is available to Vodafone Deutschland customers for €2.99 per month instead of the regular €4.99. The offer applies to both new and existing customers with an active Vodafone contract and remains valid for as long as the contractual relationship continues.
The discount also extends to higher-tier plans. The Netflix Standard plan is reduced from €13.99 to €11.99 per month, while the Premium plan falls from €19.99 to €17.99. Notably, customers must accept a minimum 12-month term to qualify for the reduced price. If the Vodafone contract ends, the Netflix subscription continues at the standard retail price and can be cancelled monthly after the minimum term.
Previously limited to selected existing customers, the streaming benefit is now available more broadly, including at the point of signing a new Vodafone contract. Customers can book the offer via Vodafone shops, the operator’s hotline or its website, although new mobile customers will only be able to activate the discount online from early March 2026.
The move strengthens Vodafone’s aggregation strategy by bundling discounted third-party streaming services with its connectivity products in an effort to increase customer retention and enhance the appeal of its entertainment portfolio.
