Dailymotion Pro and OKAST have struck a strategic partnership aimed at delivering an integrated OTT and FAST platform proposition for media companies, brands and institutions.
The companies say the joint offer combines Dailymotion Pro’s video distribution infrastructure and monetisation capabilities with OKAST’s OTT and FAST platform layer, including multi-device applications, FAST channel creation and management, channel and catalogue orchestration, product logic and media workflows.
Dailymotion Pro said the tie-up is designed to shorten time-to-market for new services while providing enterprise-grade scalability and flexibility as customers shift from basic video hosting to full product builds that include channel management, app deployment and monetisation workflows.
“Our customers are no longer just looking for video technology, they are building full media products,” said Rémi Leclancher, SVP, Supply & Enterprise Sales, Global for Dailymotion Pro. “By partnering with OKAST, we are extending our infrastructure and monetization strengths with a robust OTT and FAST product layer, enabling our clients to launch, scale, and evolve their services with greater speed and confidence.”
OKAST said it is bringing experience in turning video infrastructure into operational OTT and FAST services, with governance and compliance features suited to European and international markets. The company also pointed to its participation in EU co-funded initiatives including FAST4EU and ASAP4EU, focused on interoperability and advanced monetisation.
“This partnership reflects a clear market trend: OTT and FAST platforms are best built through strong alliances between infrastructure leaders and product specialists,” said Cédric Monnier, CEO of OKAST. “Together with Dailymotion Pro, we are offering a solution that is not just technologically powerful but also designed as a true media product, accessible, scalable, and aligned with the long-term strategic needs of our customers, where business logic, monetization strategies, and governance can be continuously adapted to long-term strategic needs.”
The partners said the platform supports use cases including premium OTT services, FAST channel launches, hybrid VOD and live services, and advertising-based video models, with management of distribution, user experience and monetisation from a unified environment.
They added the combined solution is cloud-native, intended to enable rapid deployment and elastic scaling across geographies, and is positioned for sectors beyond entertainment including education, public services, healthcare and corporate communications. The companies also emphasised sovereignty and governance, positioning the partnership as offering greater regional compliance and data control for organisations with European regulatory requirements.
Dailymotion Pro and OKAST said Locales TV is among the first customers to use the integrated offering as it develops new OTT services.
