beIN Media Group has secured exclusive, multi-platform broadcast rights across the Middle East and North Africa for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, alongside the Youth Olympic Games taking place in 2026 and 2028.
It’s already the broadcast partner for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
The agreement was signed in Milan and extends beIN’s long-running relationship with the International Olympic Committee, which began with a direct rights deal in 2015 and has since covered Olympics including PyeongChang 2018, Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022 and Paris 2024.
Coverage will be carried by beIN Sports and the group’s OTT platform TOD, spanning live events, highlights and original programming. For Milano Cortina 2026, beIN says it has rolled out a dedicated bouquet of 9 beIN Sports XTRA channels alongside streaming on TOD.
Yousef Al-Obaidly, Group CEO at beIN, said the deal underlines beIN’s “long-term commitment” to the Games and its work with the IOC to extend the Olympics’ reach across the region. IOC President Kirsty Coventry said beIN’s distribution footprint and production expertise plays an important role in bringing the Games to audiences across MENA.
