FOX Latin America has secured exclusive Bundesliga media rights for Mexico and Central America in a five-year agreement running from the 2026-27 to the 2030-31 season, following a deal with German football association DFL.
The agreement, of which financial details have not been disclosed, covers all 309 Bundesliga matches per season, as well as the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup and the promotion and relegation play-offs, amounting to more than 600 hours of live football annually.
Coverage will be offered in Spanish and English language across FOX’s pay-TV channels, its FOX One subscription service and FOX on tubi, reaching audiences in Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
The deal marks FOX’s first time as the exclusive Bundesliga rights holder in Mexico and Central America. In the most recent rights cycle, coverage in the region was held by Sky Mexico under a multi-year agreement.
In earlier cycles, Bundesliga rights in Mexico were split between several broadcasters, including FOX-branded sports channels, which carried limited match packages alongside other pay-TV and free-to-air partners.
