
A1 Group has announced a strategic partnership with Google that will see YouTube Premium added to its entertainment portfolio, beginning with A1 Croatia from 6 February 2026.
The operator said streaming and video are now the most important online activity for “nearly all” customers, positioning the move as a way to offer a simpler, more flexible premium experience with ad-free viewing.
A1 said additional markets across its footprint will follow “in the near future”, extending a strategy that already includes long-term content partnerships such as Netflix and SkyShowTime.
The group is pitching YouTube Premium as an incremental value-add alongside connectivity, content and digital entertainment services, aimed at boosting customer engagement and retention.
