TV streaming provider Zattoo has expanded its FAST portfolio with the launch of two new channels, Spiegel TV and Spiegel TV action+crime, available immediately to customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Spiegel TV focuses on factual programming produced by Spiegel TV, including current magazine formats, documentaries and reportages, as well as knowledge- and history-led titles. The schedule also includes the weekly political talk format Spitzengespräch, which discusses topical issues. Thursday evenings are reserved for history documentaries such as Das Kriegsende in Farbe and Eva Braun – Leben und Sterben mit dem Führer, alongside archive titles including the well-known Penny Markt report.
Spiegel TV action+crime is positioned around true-crime and investigative factual content. The channel features documentaries examining organised crime, rocker gangs and clan structures, alongside formats such as Im Verhör and the digital production Interview mit einem Killer. Additional titles include Unterwegs mit der Bundespolizei, Insight Hells Angels, Über Leichen, Die bösen Jungs vom Kiez, Die Macht der Clans and Die Davidwache.
