Sky is relaunching Sky One later this month, with the channel set to launch on EPG slot 106 on Tuesday 24 February 2026.
It restores the entertainment brand used by Sky since the early 1990s and positions Sky One as a single destination for its comedy and entertainment programming.
The move sees Sky Showcase and Sky Max replaced, reducing the number of linear channels available. Sky says customers will not lose any content, with titles from the outgoing channels continuing to be available, alongside new originals and on-demand viewing.
Sky One’s launch slate includes new titles The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, as well as returning favourites Rob & Romesh Vs.., The Paper and Ted.
Carli Kerr said the relaunch is designed to make it easier for customers to find Sky’s entertainment content, with the channel also set to become the home of Saturday Night Live UK when it launches later this year.
Sky One will be available to Sky Ultimate TV, Sky Signature and Sky+ customers.
Sky retired the Sky One brand in 2021 when it launched Sky Showcase and Sky Max as part of a broader entertainment channel reshuffle.
