Telia has signed a new multi-year agreement with SkyShowtime to deepen their distribution partnership and strengthen Telia’s TV and streaming proposition in Sweden.
The operator said its TV customers will retain access to SkyShowtime’s film and series catalogue, highlighting titles including Tulsa King, Yellowstone and Veronika, alongside channels such as Nickelodeon, Nick Jr and MTV. From spring 2026, the offer will be expanded to more of Telia’s customers.
Hristina Georgieva said the extended agreement reflects the growing value SkyShowtime brings to distribution partners, while Oscar Karlsson pointed to long-term content deals as Telia seeks to simplify a “TV jungle” by bundling streaming services and linear channels in one place.
SkyShowtime is a joint venture between Comcast and Paramount, combining Hollywood and local programming for European audiences.
