Dyn and ProSiebenSat.1 expand partnership with new ad formats

February 2, 2026 12.00 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Dyn Media and ProSiebenSat.1 have renewed their commercial partnership for a further two years, keeping Seven. One Media as the central sales house for advertising on the Dyn sports streaming platform while rolling out new ad formats during the current season.

Under the extended deal, Seven. One Media, the ad sales arm of German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1, remains responsible for the classic reach-based sale of spots and special ad formats across Dyn’s live and on-demand output. ProSiebenSat.1’s YouTube sales unit Studio71 will continue to monetise Dyn’s YouTube channels, and the partners will also maintain their cooperation around prize promotions via the Gewinnarena platform.

A key addition to the renewed agreement is the introduction of two new ad formats: pre-rolls and exclusive single spots. These complement the existing portfolio of L-frames and traditional ad breaks around live and VoD content, opening up additional premium placements in a sports environment. The partners also plan to enable L-frame delivery via Seven. One Media’s ad server.

Alongside the reach-driven sales handled by Seven. One Media, Dyn Media will continue to focus in-house on sponsorships and deeper brand integrations. These include presenter roles around competitions or bespoke formats, with the company citing renewed and newly signed, in some cases cross-sport, partnerships for the current season as evidence of sustained advertiser demand.

Beyond advertising, the relationship already extends to distribution. Since summer 2025, the FAST Channel Dyn Sport Mix has been available on ProSiebenSat.1’s streaming platform Joyn, offering free, round-the-clock access to a curated mix of handball, basketball, table tennis, hockey and volleyball.

“Extending our partnership with Seven. One Media is a central pillar of our sales strategy. Together we deliver high-quality reach in a dynamic sports environment and develop innovative ad formats that anchor brands effectively in live broadcasts and on-demand content,” said Max Ehrhardt, Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer at Dyn Media.

Markus Messerer, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Seven. One Media, added: “Premium sports environments in streaming are in higher demand than ever. Expanding our partnership with Dyn benefits advertisers looking for strong streaming reach across sports such as handball, basketball and table tennis, as well as Dyn as a platform and us as a marketer.”
