Premier Sports has launched a dedicated over-the-top streaming service in Canada, bringing a bundled line-up of international and club rugby to fans nationwide.
From 2026, the service will stream every match of the Guinness Men’s Six Nations, the U20 Six Nations and the new Nations Championship live and on-demand. It will also carry southern hemisphere rugby including SANZAAR international tour matches and Super Rugby Pacific, covering both the regular season and finals.
Premier Sports said the Canadian proposition creates a single destination for elite rugby, expanding access at a time when interest in the sport is growing at community and university levels.
The Six Nations coverage begins with the 2026 tournament, running from Thursday 5 February to Saturday 14 March, with all 15 matches live and on-demand. The U20 Six Nations will also be shown live and on-demand across the same period, with 15 matches scheduled from Friday 5 February to Sunday 15 March.
The service will also cover the new Nations Championship, due to debut in July 2026. The competition will bring together 12 teams across the Six Nations unions and SANZAAR nations, including Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, with Japan and Fiji also referenced as invitation teams.
Premier Sports linked the launch to rising attention on Canadian rugby, citing increased fan engagement ahead of Rugby World Cup 2027, where Canada’s men are due to feature in Pool C alongside Argentina and Fiji.
Ryle Nugent, CEO of Premier Sports Ireland and Asia, said: “We’re delighted to offer rugby fans in Canada a single high quality streaming destination for the world’s biggest international tournaments and strongest club competitions available live, on-demand and on connected platforms nationwide.
“Canada has an informed and passionate rugby community and we look forward to bringing more tier one rugby to fans as the sport continues to grow in popularity ahead of the next World Cup. We hope that by making these world-class rugby competitions available, we will play our part in a new era of rugby growth in Canada.”
Premier Sports said the service will be available across mobile, web and connected TV platforms, supported by smart TV apps and casting. Subscriptions start at $29.99 per month.
