Orange (MasOrange Group) has launched a new “Key Plays” feature on Orange TV, letting viewers jump back to replay major moments from live football matches without leaving the live stream.
The operator says key incidents are now flagged in the match progress bar, with subscribers able to access them via a dedicated “Plays” button. The interface also surfaces real-time stats alongside the event list, enabling viewers to rewatch goals, saves and fouls on demand during the game.
Key Plays will be available across the main competitions carried in Orange’s “All Football” offer, including LALIGA EA SPORTS, LALIGA HYPERMOTION, Copa del Rey, and UEFA’s club competitions. Rollout to Orange TV set-top boxes has started and is due to complete by early February.

Orange said the launch builds on earlier platform upgrades, pointing to recent work on picture, sound and navigation, including its True Motion upgrade from 25 to 50fps for Full HD 1080p output, plus reduced latency that it claims can put decoder broadcasts up to 2 seconds ahead of DTT and other IPTV services.
Ignacio García-Legaz, MasOrange’s TV director, said the new feature is designed to deliver a more personalised, interactive live football experience, as operators look to differentiate the pay-TV proposition around premium sports.
