DVB has published the programme for DVB World 2026, with registrations now open for the 17–18 March event in Amsterdam at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre.
Two keynotes headline the opening day, with EBU’s Antonio Arcidiacono set to address “Hybrid communication networks for an AI-driven world”, followed by SVT innovation chief Adde Granberg on the shift “From broadcast-standard hardware to user-centric software”.
Building on DVB’s recent focus on DVB-I rollout readiness, the programme includes a dedicated session with Hyunmin Jeon, whose StreamHub app won the DVB-I UI Competition, alongside an implementer-led “lessons learned” panel featuring contributors from Eutelsat, OnScreen Publishing, bmt, Kineton and TP Vision.
The conference strand also puts 5G Broadcast and DVB Native IP (DVB-NIP) front and centre, with a panel discussion on the future role of 5G Broadcast (including Media Broadcast and Qualcomm) and a DVB-NIP session drawing on early deployment experience from SES. Two blocks of Quickfire Talks will be added in early February.
Day 2 retains DVB World’s unconference format, with participant-pitched sessions built during the opening circle and run in parallel with new Learning Lab tutorials. DVB has already confirmed tutorials covering DVB-T2/5G Broadcast channel sharing and standards-based addressable advertising, with 2 more to be announced. The second day agenda underlines the event’s practical intent: converting the “headline” themes from day 1 into implementer discussion, next steps and working-group momentum.
Registration pricing starts at €100 for DVB members and €200 for non-members, with sponsorship and exhibitor options also available. DVB says the event is in-person only and will not be streamed or recorded, reinforcing its positioning as a working forum as much as a showcase.
