Sports Illustrated has launched SI TV, a new free ad-supported streaming channel featuring original programming, live events, sports lifestyle shows and archive content.
The 24/7 service, which is available across FAST and streaming platforms, expands the US sports magazine’s video footprint with a mix of content drawn from its journalistic resources and decades of sports archives. It debuts with behind-the-scenes features from iconic Sports Illustrated cover shoots, daily betting insights, and coverage from the Mountain West Conference Network.
SI TV offers a lineup that includes docuseries, podcasts, studio shows and live games. Early programming highlights include Around the W, Forde-Yard Dash, MMQB and Mountain West Conference Network game action. The channel also showcases a curated selection of archival content, such as Sports Illustrated Vault, featuring historic sports moments and exclusive footage.
SI TV is accessible on platforms including Amazon Fire TV, DirecTV, Sling Freestream, Plex, LocalNow, Sports.tv, Tablo TV, DistroTV and Free Live Sports, with a rollout planned on The Roku Channel.
“SI TV is a new platform for what SI has always done: tell the best stories in sports with authoritative voices and unique access,” said Steve Cannella, Editor-in-Chief of Sports Illustrated. “We’re excited to expand that mission into the FAST space. From news-based analysis to longer-form storytelling, SI TV will feature our signature content in reimagined ways for new audiences.”
The launch builds on strong growth in Sports Illustrated’s digital video engagement, with the company reporting significant year-over-year increases in views and watch time across its YouTube content in 2025.
