Sky has signed a new partnership with Team GB and ParalympicsGB spanning the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 through to the Los Angeles 2028 Games, aiming to connect audiences with athletes’ stories across the full cycle.
Team GB chief commercial officer Tim Ellerton said Sky’s backing will help “amplify” athletes’ journeys and build “deeper connections with fans” as the teams head towards Milano Cortina and LA28. ParalympicsGB commercial director Jenny Seymour said Sky’s reach can bring “new audiences” closer to Paralympic sport and its “powerful stories”.
Sky chief consumer officer Sophie Ahmad said the broadcaster is “proud to partner” with the teams as part of its long-term commitment to British sport. Athletes including Olympic diving medallist Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Paralympic triathlon multi-medallist Lauren Steadman also welcomed the deal, highlighting the value of national support and the role of sport in “changing perceptions” and championing inclusion.
Sky said Sky Sports has contributed around £18 billion (€20.6 billion) to UK sport over the past decade, and that its investment underpinned more than £10 million of economic activity a day in 2024.
