FAST Channel and AVOD operator wedotv has named Iza Piotrowska Senior Vice-President of Global Business Development, placing the long-standing executive in charge of its international distribution strategy.
Piotrowska, who has worked with wedotv as Business Development Director since 2022, assumes the role on a full-time basis and continues to report to Co-CEOs Philipp Rotermund and Chris Sharp. She is based in the company’s London office.
In her new position, Piotrowska oversees global carriage and platform partnerships for wedotv’s FAST Channels, supporting further rollouts with smart TV platforms, CTV services and pay-TV providers worldwide. Her remit includes driving international growth across Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
“Iza has been instrumental in expanding wedotv’s global footprint,” said Philipp Rotermund. “She has led several of our most important distribution agreements worldwide, including recent deals in Asia and Latin America. Her deep understanding of the FAST ecosystem and strong relationships with platform partners make her exceptionally well-suited to lead our global business development efforts.”
Piotrowska has more than 18 years’ experience across the pay-TV and streaming sectors, spanning affiliate sales, international content distribution and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining wedotv, she held senior roles at Mega Max Media (ducktv), GINX Esports TV and AMC Networks International, where she negotiated carriage agreements and supported the growth of both linear and digital channels.
As part of her expanded responsibilities, Piotrowska will attend Content Americas in Miami next week on behalf of wedotv.
