Net Insight has appointed Andreas Eriksson as its new chief executive, starting immediately.
He steps up from his role as chief commercial officer and succeeds Crister Fritzson, who is retiring after 6 years in the job.
Chair Anna Söderblom said the board had selected an internal candidate following a competitive recruitment process. “The Board is confident that Andreas is the right person to drive Net Insight’s continued development together with our experienced management team and dedicated employees. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Crister for his significant contributions during his 6 years as CEO of the company.”
Eriksson joined Net Insight as CCO in January 2025 and has held senior international roles across the broadcast and media sector, including CEO and head of sales at Telstra Broadcast Services, plus leadership positions at Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services (now Red Bee Media) and within the wider Ericsson Group.
He said the company’s next phase will focus on expanding its business in media transport and time synchronisation.
Net Insight said recruitment for a new CCO will begin immediately. In the interim, Nadia Kolli, who leads the EMEA sales organisation, will serve as acting CCO.
