CommScope has closed the sale of its Connectivity and Cable Solutions (CCS) segment to Amphenol, completing a deal first announced in August 2025.
The transaction hands over the CommScope name and brand with the CCS business, while the remaining company will rebrand as Vistance Networks from 14 January 2026, becoming the parent for its Access Networks Solutions and Ruckus Networks operations.
CommScope said proceeds, net of fees and expenses, will be used to repay all outstanding debt and redeem its preferred equity held by Carlyle. After taking on “modest leverage” in the remaining business, the company expects to have significant excess cash and plans to distribute this to shareholders as a dividend within 60-90 days of closing.
As part of the reshaping, Access Networks Solutions will be renamed Aurora Networks, focusing on HFC and broadband access network products for service providers. Rukus Networks will continue as the group’s enterprise networking arm, spanning Wi-Fi, switching and cloud-managed platforms.
Shares will begin trading under the new ticker VISN on Nasdaq on Wednesday 14 January 2026.
